Service Learning Internship

Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and Development

An immersive internship with a local NGO (non-governmental organization) working on grassroots sustainable development issues. The service-learning internship is a chance for students to work with a local organization, such as an NGO, focused on sustainable development issues. This is a chance for students to apply what they have learned during their field expedition courses to a specific project and problem.

Internship sites

We work with over 30 organizations in Thailand where students can do internships. ISDSI is involved in on-going training and assistance with our partner NGOs in order to assure that students are involved in meaningful work, and are also not an undue burden on their NGO hosts.
