ISDSI works with a large number of schools, on both short term and semester programs.  For our semester programs, we’ve had a total of 346 students (plus 200 or so in short term custom programs). Including fall, 2011, we will have had over 500 students from over 30 schools and 40+ different majors.

Enrollment at ISDSI

ISDSI does no paid advertising, and sends out announcements through a very limited number of channels by email — the AASHE newsletter, and our own email list of faculty and friends. Most of our growth has come by word of mouth by students and faculty.

We limit enrollment to approximately  30 students a semester, and we were again full for fall (2010) with a waiting list.

To meet the demand for our courses, we are reintroducing summer short-term programs, as well as putting materials online so that other schools can use the same principles of education and incorporate them into what they are doing.
